My name is James Herring. I am a graduate from the University of Canberra with a Degree in Sports Media and Communication with a Major in Film Production.

I spent most of my 20s working in skateboard and snowboard shops, so when I decided to go to university, I wanted to emphasise covering board sports, i.e. Snowboarding, Skateboarding, and Surfing.

Additionally, I am also interested in content creation outside of the board-sport world. For example, I’ve photographed amateur Basketball, American Football and Aussie Rules and covered them in the written form and film.

My overall goal is to find work in digital content creation in many avenues of sport, whether that be photography, film making or writing.

To try and find stories that keep life exciting and engaging.
